So very sorry to hear about little Gunner. I think if you are emotionally ready for another yorkie then it would be a good thing to start looking for another one. We lost our little 6 year old yorkie the end of August. He died suddenly and I still don't know what happened. The first week or so I was so upset and heartbroken I couldn't even think about getting another. I just couldn't stop crying and missed him so much. It took me about a week or two to realize that our home just wasn't the same without a yorkie living in it. We are "expecting" (lol) two new yorkie pups in about two weeks and I'm so happy and excited. Even though I still miss my little guy, knowing that soon our home will be filled with the pitter patter of yorkie feet has really helped ease my grief. Our neighbors had to put their yorkie to sleep the same day that Barkley passed and they already have two new yorkie puppies. Keep us posted on what you decide to do.
