Mom is familiar with clippers esp with ones for humans. She uses them to cut my dad's hair and has had other dog clippers, so she is aware that they get warm. She said this pair got uncomfortably hot. She told me that there were several reviews on amazon that mentioned that they got really hot, but knows how reviews go and since the majority of reviews were good, she decided to try them anyway. She was very disappointed. I told her i would ask on here. She was not talking just about the blades, but the whole unit.
