Question Sodium in kibble...

Do you look @ the sodium content in the kibble you're feeding your yorkies? I haven't been paying attention to the sodium as much as the protein or fat content until recently...so I googled & tried to find out what the acceptable or ideal sodium content should be for dogs 5-7#'s & found nothing.
I'm currently feeding Canine Caviar Open Sky (duck) for dinner only & it has a sodium content of .23% max. Wild Ocean has .46% & Buffalo has only .2% (from what I remember, but can't find it on their site). I tried emailing them but it wouldn't go through, it says: Your message was flagged as spam. Please turn on javascript and resubmit. My javascript is on & current, don't know why it's not going through?

Can someone please email them for me & post their response here? I can call, but I understand better when it's in writing, esp if it has #'s in it.
2 questions:
1. Why is there such a big difference in the sodium content? Open Sky .23%, Wild Ocean .46% & Buffalo .2%.
2. What is the appropriate amount of sodium for 5-7# dogs?
