I have such a sweet puppy. Hes 10 months old and so lovable. The other day though, I was at work and a woman came in with a yorkie. I went over to assist her and the dog snapped at me. I didnt know how to react because I wasnt even close to the dog or reaching for the dog. The woman said the dog doesnt like strangers...so I was wondering if yorkies are overly protective or aggressive? I mean, of course it depends on how they are raised and introduced to people...but that was so strange since she had the dog in a bag and seemed like they went everywhere together.
I should add that my yorkie doesnt sit in a bag, he is allowed to walk or I carry him if there are lots of people. I also only take him places where there is no food served (because I think its rude) so hes been to the outdoor mall (where all the stores allow dogs) and the pet stores and today we went to lowes. People all looked and petted him and he was loving the attention, especially from babies
