Welcome to YT, to both Sir Arthur and his faithful "footman" John! Iam sure you will be getting numerous suggestions on the best course of action for you to take....let me preface MY suggestion by saying I dont like getting caught in ER clinics/hospitals, over the weekend or middle of the night, if I can help it.....I have already paid for a wing added onto my ER vet. hospital and they have suggested I start putting in more parking! While I love to contribute to small businesses, and assist the local economy to the best of my ability, I do like to pay my bills at my own house so,whenever there is an accident or I just get nervous about something, I personally DO NOT ASSUME A "WAIT AND SEE" ATTITUDE! It has ALWAYS cost me about 3x's as much doing that, not to mention the discomfort the sick pup was enduring. I would go ahead and take the baby in, get the leg xray'd and see what needs to be done for him. That way, you are not at some ER at 2am on Sunday morning, with Sir Arthur and a leg that is swollen and hot to touch, and the little King-To-Be, feverish and out of sorts...... |
