yes water is fine, it's actually very important to keep him hydrated.oh and i forgot to add, if you can get ahold of karo syrup or nutrical, i would suggest giving him that, just a teaspoon, it will help with keeping his blood sugar level up.. after the 3 days of chicken and rice, slowly reintroduce his regular food. if he gets sick again then i would change his food and take him in to see your vet.
