The other day I introduced myself to you the members but I got to talking about my yorkie son I forget to tell you about two of my yorkies choking on dentabones x-mas day. They handed them out at a dog show. Less than five minutes after giving them to the two they started pawing at their faces which is usually a sign of a foriegn object. It had turned into a doughy paste that was lodged in "cookie's" throat. No time to go to the vet she was falling over due to lack of oxygen. I was a vet tech for many years and a mother , so I reached in and pulled out most of it and brought her back. "Madeline" had hers stuck only at the roof of her mouth. Can you imagine my panic two choking at the same time. It was not fun! I contacted the manufacturer Master Foods and told them I think they should recall their product and re-formulate it. The asked me if I had taken anyone of them to vet, I said I had no time to. They offered to send me some coupons and I replied they could keep their coupons.I have been warning everyone I can.
