My little one was so miserable but now she is much better. The cat almost scratched her eye out and her anal glands needed to be expressed. She couldn't see out of one eye and her butt was hurting. I noticed she was scooting a week earlier so I asked the vet to check her anal glands while I was there.


I took her to the vet yesterday and now she is feeling 100% better. Her eye will be okay fortunately it wasn't too serious. The vet give me some ointment and eye drops and she expressed her anal glands. This must of happened on Sunday because I noticed her eye swellling on Monday, but the vet was closed so had to wait until Tuesday to take her. Her eye is already starting to look better.

The cat has never done anything like this before in the almost 6 years that I had both of them. She will take a swipe at Brandi every now and then but her claws are never out. So I am chalking this one up to freak accident. I've been keeping Zoey's nails clipped and I am hoping this is just a one time thing.
