Interesting Question. Gracie and Julia Rose would back up and then run. Rubin would lay down. Abba Daddy and Ginny Joy would go to a stranger. WHY ? Gracie (was a rescue) is fearful of being picked up by anyone but me. Julia Rose is a puppy and runs from us, she is playing. Rubin is old and will not run from or to anyone. He will let most people pick him up. Both Abba and Ginny are therapy dogs and have no fear of people at all. If you pat your leg or call them, they will come.
