Default Lost Dog

I feel so bad for them, they were super small!! I know with the birds of prey, cars, and the cold at night, they will not survive. I keep looking at the mailbox for the Missing Dog sign, at least I can let them know where I saw them last..

I can’t help but wish I was able to catch them! I know given the time their owners were more than likely at work and they probably got out of the back yard-

It makes me think, I wonder if Peanut got out of the house and someone tried to catch them if he would run to them? Or run away? He is a super friendly dog and with me goes to everyone, but given the circumstances I wonder if he was out and about without me, I wonder what he would do-??

DH thinks that he would run away from someone that was trying to catch him…. I think he might go up to someone… Maybe if it was a female he would. I don’t think he would go up to a male…

I wish there was a way to teach them to go to someone in hopes the person would contact the owners. I know it is a very slim chance if Peanut got out and someone did catch him the chances are of them contacted me are slim… That is what scares me-

I hope and pray I never have to deal with that. I do my best to keep him safe. He is never out without a leash, he is never in the back yard alone…. I guess that is all you can do..

What do you think your dogs would do? Run away from someone or go to them?
