Mandie used to always pee when me or my hubby would bend down to pick her up so we learned to get down on the floor with her at first and motion for her to get in our lap. Then, we stand up with her and she's fine.
She still has incidents here and there, but for the most part, the bending down to pick her up or pet her was what triggered it.
