It's best to let your vet know how your dog is doing, and you could ask him about Benadryl spray, if you are sure it's an ant bite, but I can't believe an ant bite would be bothering him this long. |
Sugar got into a fire ant nest while with her pet sitter while I was in Belize. She had blisters and itching and pain for 3 weeks. It most certainly could still be bothering him.
My vet gave anti itch meds both orally and a topical powder. HTH
