I use Ginger Knife Blade scissors. When they are new,it is not a matter of "if" you will cut yourself,but "when" and "where". The nice thing about Gingers is,although they are expensive, you can send them back to the factory when they dull and have them refurbished. They dont just sharpen them,they realign the blades and tighten the screw. You get your scissors back and they are like new. I have a pair that given to me for my 18th bday (a very loooong time ago),they go to the factory about every 2yrs.
