It does sound serious. Could be some kind of seizure activity. It is so sad when they start to age. I hope your vet can do a good work up on her and pinpoint what the problem is. Watch for any personality changes or differences in her daily activities that might help your vet. Sometimes changes are very subtle at first. I hope she will be OK.
