Just wondering who on YT speaks another language besides English
I myself am half Hispanic (dad is 50/50 Mexican/puerto Rican) but sadly I don't know the language fluently.
It's a big regret in my life, not being able to speak Spanish when my grandparents barely know English. My grandmother is in the hospital very, very ill and about to lose her battle...and I came to the realisation that I always intended to learn Spanish, but never got around to it. It made me really sad to think I failed my grandmother, in a way. My three sisters all know Spanish fluently.
Anyways, I'd love to see who knows another language. It's super interesting to me! My bf for example knows German. Is he German? No
but he studied it in school and kept at it and is now very nearly fluent.
It used to be such a great extra skill, could help set you apart and help you land a job. But these days its almost like you HAVE to be bilingual.
Also, anyone have success with Rosetta Stone?
