I have not used it, but I know many people who do feed HK as the primary diet and are very happy with it. HK has helped dogs who suffer severe allergies.
To the best of my knowledge, HK has never had a recall. They also state on their website that none of their ingredients come from China, as rumored on the internet.
HK does contain small amounts of garlic, as do many dog foods. People who prefer not to feed garlic often choose Grandma Lucy's over HK.
