I guess that could explain a lot of Amirah's ticks. The first two weeks that I had her I was on pins and needles over the food and hypoglycemia thing. I begged her to eat and hand feed her most of the time. Also I always and even still have syringes and karo syrup on hand. My room mate thought I was nuts. If she didn't eat she was getting karo. I took her to the vet after four days of owning her freaking out because she wouldn't eat. And this vet without even coming into the room said she probably had parvovirus granted I flipped out on the vet because she a had no other symptoms and b he never even saw her. I lectured him on good vetting practices for about 15 mins. And once he actually looked at her he realized he was wrong. Turns out she was homesick and picky. Yogurt has actually been my saving grace with this little girl. |
