We have the round disc that you heat in the microwave for 5 minutes. It really works great and lasts forever. We just make sure we wrap it in a towel while it is still hot. I mostly use this for puppies when they are small. This one really gets hot so you have to be careful not to get pups too hot.

I also have the lectric pad that I use for litters that barely stays warm. It is pretty consistent but the pups dont overheat since it doesnt get that hot. I use both.
