Are you sure it isn't his breath? I too have a young puppy and his mouth started to really smell at around that age. The vet said it was because of the teeth that were about to fall out or were falling out. I have since found many of the teeth and there are still a few loose ones there that I can see so the smell has lessened quite a bit.
My sister in law's vet told her to freeze apple slices for her dog when it was teething to help reduce the smell. My little guy prefers the apple slices (peeled first) not frozen.
If it is indeed the teeth, it will go away when the puppy has finished loosing the baby teeth. |
