Miles...not sure the exact milage depends on the wind really but its been reported males as far as 10 miles away have broken through windows in their himes to get to a female in heat they caught scent of.
Keep her leashed to you at all times and secured.
Also be aware its not impossible for a male to literally break into your home to get to her.
Doesnt matter if its a great dane male smelling a Chihuahua female all they know is femal in heat scent.
