Yes, I agree. Joey’s breeder said that after you put the band in, you loosen it a bit by putting a think steal comb in-between the band and scalp, some use a rat tail to loosen the band. It doesn’t have to be sloppy loose; it just can’t be tight against scalp. Also, you don’t have to always wear bows, the band alone looks cute. You can use lightweight clips or even puppy bows, to get her use to the weight of a bow. Do get topknot bands, they work better than some bigger bands.
