There is a wonderful vet out there called Dr. Karen Becker who has a lot of information on the best foods for your dog, should you take the not homemade or raw approach.
If you do a search on youtube she has some videos on there.

My dogs don't eat kibble but one used to be on orijen red, so I highly recommend orijen.

I personally recommend, orijen, acana, go, now, blue buffalo and fromm's.

Stay away from anything who's first few ingredients aren't meat, if they say "meat meal" (I won't tell you what that means), if there is part of the food that comes from "meal", make sure it specifies exactly what is belongs to.
Avoid, corn or corn byproducts, soy or soy byproducts, wheat or gluten, brown rice, as these are all grains which are harder for a dogs system to digest and often the result of allergies and other auto immune illness in dogs.
