Surely this creep will get more than a year or so for aggravated attempted murder(throat cutting speaks of his deadly intent to kill - he can't say he just meant to hurt her as in hitting over the head with a bottle or pistol-whipping a person) and as someone who has assaulted before, won't they give him at least a moderate to lengthy sentence - not just a vacation?
