I am just going to foster her for now, but I will keep her if I can. If I am wrong then the owners only need to come forward and show that they have cared for her. Vet references are easily checked. I hear what you are saying but tragic things do happen to families. Perhaps the dog got out as the owner was being taken out on a stretcher, is in the hospital or one-parent family & child is very seriously ill - things do happen to keep good people from being able to do the things they normally would. I do hope if the owner can't be found you can keep your little find. You sound like a woman in love! She sure is sweet looking and she is a lucky little girl to have been seen by your dh.
