I grew up with domestic violence and it is a wound that takes many years to heal from as a child witnessing such horrific acts upon someone you love deeply. I will keep the girls and your friend in my prayers and thoughts. I am very thankful she made it through and I hope this man pays a bigger price and it doesnt happen again. That is the sadess part...he should never have the power or chance to do it again.
