I am definitely not comfortable giving human meds to my little guy, so I would call your vet again....doesn't hurt!

My first aid book for pets says 1mg per lb. every 6-8 hours (as an antihistamine - Benadryl) and for Tylenol (pain reliever) it says to ask your vet.
