Just to chime in...I was in a similar boat not too long ago. I thought I really, really wanted a second Yorkie but I had all the same hesitations that you are mentioning! I didn't want it to rock the boat or ruin the good thing that I had with Chloe (my 3yr old Yorkie). However, last month my husband and I came across the "one" and it has been wonderful! Within a week, the new puppy (Karli) and Chloe were getting along and playing. Chloe has not seemed depressed or upset. It was definitely the right decision for us. I think you can make anything work if you want it badly enough. Good luck!
