I hate to once again second guess my vet but since most do not seem to be too up on nutrition I called RC myself to see if by chance they did make a prescription hypo allergenic food that is lower in calories. My vet had told me they didn't and now was told by RC that they do have a prescription lower calorie one, by the above name.

He also wanted to start both at the same time which concerns me. Am I correct in being concerned about doing two new things at the same time, food and a pill?

Thanks so much for your help and sorry that I sound so crazed and frustrated but I hope you can all understand why.
