Why do Yorkies want my food ? Begging is a puppy like behavior. Our Yorkies stay dependent on us. It is fine to give a treat off your plate after you are finished eating. Just make sure it is a healthy bite, like a tiny piece of chewed meat, green bean or noodle. No cake please.
Dog like routine. It makes them feel secure. It is ok to say, No go back to sleep it is Sunday. They understand, but they still need to go out. An hour delay may be fine, but more than that may be just too long to hold it.
