The deer are really beautiful, especially the babies. The road that we travel to get home from town is a 2 lane and we have to drive slowly around the curves because the deer like to cross at certain times of day. During the summer months the mother deer will cross first and then the baby or babies will follow after she has crossed. If I see one I can count on there being at least one or two more.
I did get a picture of the doe eating out the bird feeder by my bedroom window. Wish I had saved it on my computer. I printed it out to show the grand kids. She was only about 2 feet from the screen on my window. During the summer there are a lot of green things available to eat but I guess she just prefers the birdseed!
