The first one, I'm not sure how to cure that. Maybe try different hair products to see if there is a scent they prefer. My guys have their preferences. If something smells too strong, they are unhappy (Chris Christensen products do not agree with them). Whenever you see her lying on the piddle pad, say,"Uh uh uh" or "no no no."
Feeding: put the food down and go do something or sit somewhere. If they come to you, pet them and talk to them....but don't ever give in and give them more or a treat, otherwise they will always expect it. If you are staying in the kitchen or wherever you keep their food, and depending on what you say to them, they will think there is hope of getting more.
My boys are like ZoE and want their meals at the same time every day. They probably know what day it is, but their stomach and saliva glands don't have a weekend schedule.
