I just read the blog posts on the front page (about your son and church, gas prices, and most strikingly your mammogram experience.) You write well! I have never known the details of an appointment like that and it was scary to read. I can't imagine how you felt. How alone. Bless your friend and your angel Shirley. They kept you strong, and I'm SO GLAD it turned out benign. Hope your check up goes well too...be sure to blog about it...I will totally be on the lookout to read it.

It's so important to educate women about the importance of mammograms. Early diagnosis is so vital. I am 20 years old so hopefully have a while but at least I am informed of the issue.
