I know. I was, still am for that matter, having reservations. I almost wished that I hadn't called the shelter
I took pictures of her teeth and nails just in case.I am praying that the shelter will do what they told me and check back on this little girl to make sure she is seen by a vet. I spent a good 15 minutes talking to the guy when he picked her up and showed him everything I was concerned about.
I think I will call them in a few days and check on her. If the owners just wanted to get rid of her why did they post her as lost? If nobody had claimed her in 7 days legally I could have kept her.
