Oh wow, 5 weeks? I thought 6 weeks was the minimum by law in most states. Of course, for the toy breeds that's way too young. I wonder if you can find the name of the breeder, it would be great if you could report her, also selling to someone who can’t afford vet care is horrible! Anyway, good for you for helping this puppy. It sounds like she was switched to whole food too soon, what is whole food anyway? I've read that some breeders mix a special milk with kibble, because puppies that young can't chew yet. Hopefully, a breeder will give you more information, most pet owners don't know much about a puppy that young. Bless you for what you are doing!
