Yeppers! My breeder friend is quite a bit older than I am and was friends with my parents. When I was twelve we moved from our 25 acre farm in the country. I had to give up my horse that I had for 3 years, and the home I mostly grew up in. So my friend gave me a 4 month old yorkie pup to keep me company in my new house. He's been my best friend since.
We've grown up together! I worry about him being 12 as I'm not sure what I will do when he goes. But he's still really playful and in pretty good health.
