All of California is ridiculously over priced, but San Fran has got to be the MOST overpriced. When we moved up to Northern Cali we looked into moving to San Fran, but we wanted to live in a house and the cheapest rent we could find for a house (not an apt) was $2500/month. That's more than a mortgage in some places
Then we looked at apts. $1500/month for a 1 bedroom was low... Good luck finding ANYTHING less than that in SF...
