 Leaking Urine
Hi, it's been a very long time since I've been here but I have a problem. My little red headed girl Nikki is getting old, she will be 11 on Thanksgiving and she is having some health problems. Nikki is at my side no matter what I'm doing or in my lap if I'm sitting. Here is where the problem comes in, if she is laying on my lap not sleeping just comfortable getting petted after a while I feel my leg getting wet from urine leakage. Now she has started doing it on the bed (she sleeps with me) I've started putting a water proof mattress pad on that side of the bed on top of the sheets, but if there is a space between me and the pad that's where she'll get trying to stay close to me and ends up wetting on the sheets. I am sure she is sleeping when this happens because I woke up the other night and found the pad wet and she was still sleeping laying it. I'm going to try making a place for her on the floor but don't know how that will work. She has been to the vet and all kinds of blood test done but all the vet says is she might be in the early stagges of Cushings. I would like to know if any of you have had this problem, sorry this is so long. Thanks Larry |
