Pet insurance is coming in here too in Italy. I really wonder. My three have had no issues until just this week when Sugar was found with hernia and little bumps on her stomach near her teats. We will do the operation on Tuesday and the dr will charge 500 euro ( abit over $650) he will also spay her and do her teeth. She is 9 years old as is her sister and this is the first operation we have ever had. They all have had issues with runny tummys so we have paid for xrays plus vacinations. I wonder if these would have been covered by insurance? It's a whole new world for me. Let me know what you discover..
