Welcome. I am so sorry that you lost your little dog that way - that is heartbreaking and makes me furious! The idea that someone would take a little dog from its own home and inflict that kind of psychological trauma on both the dog and the owner is unthinkable! I can't imagine what you are going through dealing with it all.
I think in the Library section of this website there are breeders listed and some here can probably recommend reputable breeders they have dealt with, gotten a pup from. Good luck with your hunt for both your little lost baby and finding another. Have you considered rescue?
