Ginger has one ear up and one ear down, and always has. Maggie's ears stand up as long as the hair on the top half of the ears doesn't get too long, but if the hair gets long they flop down. I would try having the top 1/3 to 1/2 of the ears trimmed real short or shaved and see if that helps. If not you could try taping them and/or massaging them as mentioned earlier. Sometimes the ears just don't stand up and there's not much you can do about it though.
