What exactly is the function of MSM? I saw that my vet had the 2 types available but opted for the one that she recommended since I didn't know what the heck MSM was or did lol. But if it offers pain relief and is safe for young dogs to take for prolonged periods (I'm assuming Toki will take a joint supplement for the rest of her life after having hip surgery) I will get the MSM kind next time
