I would ask your vet to be sure but that sounds about right. Toki weighs 9 pounds and gets 1/4 tablet for small breeds daily. The first month or so she got 1/2 a tablet then the vet said it'd be fine to cut her down to 1/4 a tablet during the maintenance period. The only issue is that although the tablets are kinda big, I'm not sure how easy it'd be to cut it into more than four pieces without crumbling them into powder if you need a smaller dose.
