Aw! Hope he's feeling better soon. At least with both legs done, he won't be able to favor one over the other, and will learn he can use them quicker. It may be a bit harder on you for the first few days though, but worth not having to go throught it all again... I read where it can take up to 5 days for a BM, but do ask your vet. I usually do a bland diet after a procedure for a few days to get things moving through easier, like chicken and rice and some chicken baby food... easy on the digestive system till things return to normal. But many do well without it, lol. All depends on the pup...
