Oh, I love going for certain "looks". Did the study in 1940 Cuban one two-year period and just loved it. One 3 year period did my kitchen in a late '30's-early '40's farm kitchen look and just went nuts for realism, right down to the authentic aprons, tins, crockery and appliances as much as possible. Now it's as slick and modern as possible. I think the fun part is the planning, looking, hunting for, buying, refurbishing and then the arranging the room. It's all such fun. I love change in my furnishings.
