I did shabby chic for a while in my bedroom & very soon tired of it. Unless you are a person who like a lot of stuff around all the time, I would stay with a less cluttered look and furniture that can handle more than one "look". But I sure loved my shabby chic when I first did it. Can't believe I changed so! But it sure is fun to "do" a room in the sc look. I may do a spare bedroom again in it just for the fun of shopping for the things and then the arranging and doing of the look. What fun that was.
