Wylie had LP surgery yesterday - we picked him up about 7:30pm (his surgery was delayed all day bc of emergencies).
He is doing really well, although last night was tough when he started crying at 11:30pm and we couldn't help him
...we gave an extra 1/2 dose of pain meds, tried to help him pee, soothed him...all kinds of stuff, he was miserable. Finally, on the 4th time we put him on the pee pad, he peed BIG TIME. And right after that, he slept thru the night. Poor guy had to pee so bad, but just couldn't figure out how to do it with us supporting his back end. No poo poo yet, but I'm not surprised.
For those whose kiddos went thru LP surg, how long until they went poo?
The wraps come off Thursday, and I'm sure he'll be more comfy after that.
Look at his poor behind - all shaved! It's like a reverse mullet - party in the front, business in the back - poor baby! Wylie requests you don't show this to the female furs on here bc his man-package is totally exposed.
