I know it must be awful for you not to have your little one with you. You know you have done what is best for her. I would not want to leave my dog in a house where I did not know what the other people might be doing with her when I was not here, not to mention the general safety factor. As long as you trust that your mom is taking good care of her it should be a great load off your mind and you will be able to study and go to classes without worrying about what may be going on when you are not there.
I hope your last year at school is a good one and I'm sure your little one will be glad to see you when you get home to visit.
