Yeah, I've done regular bikini waxes... sensitive skin and thick hair do not respond well to them.

I think laser and IPL are different. I think. IPL is supposed to use a wider range of light wave lengths, and is less painful. But from what I've read, they aren't really permanent, they just make the hair grow back slower (which btw, I heard waxing/plucking did as well, and HA! So not NOT true for me). I dunno when I first heard about it, I heard that it actually killed the hair follicle, which sounded awesome.

I'd like to try it, but is there any way to try without buying the whole kit and kaboodle? I guess I could get one that could be returned... I'd like to be able to test it in a dept store or something, but it sounds like there are a limited number of flashes in each cartridge or whatever, so probably not something they hand out free samples of.

BTW, does anyone remember the epiLady, and how that was going to change our lives? HAHAHAHA!
