Mine will get in my lap when they dont feel good, and they will drink from "my" cup of sweetened tea (decaf) ....I guess they think we are all "sick" and huddling together, drinking the same stuff, together! I will also put chicken broth in a cup and we will both drink chicken broth out of "my" cup....I fake taking a sip, then let her have a sip...they also love jello that you prepare and it has not set yet.....they will drink that, in a pinch....speaking of pinch, I add just a pinch of salt to a cup of jello liquid....then they are getting the sugar and the salt that helps combat the dehydration...until you can get some Pedialyte....then you can make the jello with pedialyte and let them drink it if they dont like the pedialyte by itself...
