I just mix a little sugar with water, put it in a needle-less syringe or eye dropper and put it in the pouch formed at the side of the mouth - right at the edge of the mouth nearest the face. I give some every 30 minutes. Holding the dog's muzzle with the mose pointed up toward the ceiling helps it swallow some time. It you don't have either, just put some in anything that will squeeze out and squeeze it in the mouth a bit every 30 mins., or just use a teaspoon and tip it in, pulling the bottom of the pouch out a bit to receive it. If I think the dog is losing fluid as in when it vomits and/or has diarrhea, I use Pedialyte instead of sugar-water. Dehydration can kill a dog very fast so I urge you to get the dog into the nearest vet, keeping him hydrated some until you do.
